The chaos in my head practically vomited itself out onto the paper, so strong was the urge to release it. My hand moving faster than the plans in my mind for the composition plus a little collaboration on my daughter's part lent to some artistic discovery.

Gitanjali translates to Song Offerings in English. Because of the intuitive nature of this work and letting the painting guide me in my decisions, calling it something musical, flowing and free is appropriate.
