City of Loveland Transformations Project

I applied to the Loveland Transformations Project again this year. 15 artists will be selected to paint murals on the sides of transformer/electrical boxes around the city. I submitted these two proposal sketches that I conceived for this project and I'm not sure when I'll hear the results. I'd love to get into the public art domain and even if I'm not selected for this project I may offer a few free murals to businesses around the area to get my foot in the door, as they say.

Moyo's Shirt

Two years of procastination finally bears fruit! Here's Todd modeling the shirt of roses I painted, as per request, for artist Moyosore Ogundipe. He's coming back to Colorado from Nigeria for a visit and will be collecting it then.

Current Frustration

This composition is bothering me. Do I finish it the way it is? Do I massacre it and take a leap of faith following suggestions of trusted mentors?
The latest thing I'm considering doing to this piece is taking the flutist in the foreground and putting him way back behind the other figures, in the same position.
Another option, because I am loathe to undo the work I did on his jeans, is balance the focus on him with something in the upper left quadrant, possibly.
For now, I'm putting it in the closet and working on other things. Maybe when I take another look later, I'll be inspired with a solution.
